Training of Trainers on Health Journalism

Center organised a two-day Training of Trainers on Health Journalism from 27 to 28 March 2017 in Karachi. Journalists from 10 districts of Sindh participated in the workshop. Danyal Hasan, Bureau Chief Dawn News, was the master trainer. The participants of the training will now build capacity of their fellow journalists in their respective districts. The workshop was based on the Tutorials on Health Journalism developed by Center. The workshop and the tutorials seek to enable journalists to improve maternal and child health in the country through impactful news-making.

This initiative is part of the Health Communication Component of the USAID-funded Maternal and Child Health Project, implemented in partnership with Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs.
