Center and NDMA sign MoU

Center for Communication Programs Pakistan has joined hands with the National Disaster Management Authority as its strategic communication partner. A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect was signed on April 26, 2017 between the two organizations.

Signing on behalf of the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority was its Member Ms. Raheela Saad, while Dr. Atif Ikram Butt represented Center.

The signing ceremony was held at the Prime Minister Secretariat in Islamabad. The understanding aims to foster and expand network of cooperation between both the organizations, which includes increased mutual understanding, mutual assistance for establishing a support network for use of strategic communication for disaster management.


Center for Communication Programs Pakistan is a sister organization of Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs based in Baltimore, Maryland and registered in Pakistan as a nongovernmental and nonprofit organization under the Societies Act XXI of 1860.
